Uses:
a) Indicated as alternative antibiotics in the treatment of common orofacial infections caused by aerobic gram + cocci and susceptible anaerobes
b) Localized aggressive periodontitis
c) Generalized aggressive periodontitis
d) Can be used as alternatives for antibiotic premedication
