Tariff: A tax is fixed when the Government want people to buy items produced domestically. So, a tariff is established on goods imported.
Quotas: Restrictions applied on products quantity, so the price of the product imported will rise, and people will prefer domestic products.
Embargoes: When the Government prohibit trade with another country. Generally for political reasons.
