Percy knows that he Is gonna get kicked out and he was thinking about this part “The only person I dreaded saying good-bye to was Grover" because Grover Is his best friend and he didn't want to say good by but he didn't have to because they were going Into the city together and In the movie Grover come's to Percy's house 'cause Percy's stepdad was gonna hit Percy but Grover hit Percy's stepdad In the wrong spot (well I can't really say It on this website people will report this answer) with his crutches and then hit him In the head with them but anyways the importance of this excerpt was that Percy didn't want to say good-bye but then he didn't have to because the end up In camp half-blood.
