1. They’re both nucleic acids because they’re both made of nucleotides. They both use A,C and G as their bases. mRNA is a copy of DNA.

Nitrogen Bases: DNA- ATCG mRNA- AUCG

Sugars: DNA- Deoxyribose mRNA- Ribose

Location: DNA- nucleus mRNA- made in nucleus moves to the ribosome into cytoplasm
