Let m represent the number of pages she read.
So,
1 2/3 × m = 22 1/2
5/3 × m = 45/2
m = (45/2) / (5/3)
m = 45/2 × 3/5
m = (45×3)/(2×5)
m = 235/10
m = 23.5
Hence, she read 23.5 pages.
