Donnie is 7 years old. Donnie's age is 3 years less than half of Ana's age. The relationship between their ages can be modeled by the equation 12x−3=7, where x is Ana's age. How old is Ana?

But I thought about it and

I'm not exactly sure how I got this but

20 divided by 2 is 10

10-3=7

so maybe 20 years old?
I think Ana might be 9 ? I’m sorry if I am wrong I don’t even think I did the math correctly
