A red bike costs $125 and the price is marked up 8%. A blue bike costs $150 and the price is marked down 8%. Enter the difference in the prices of the bikes including the markup and markdown.

the price of red bike after markup : $125(1+8%)=135

the price of blue bike previously : $150
the price of blue bike after markup : $150(1-8%)=138

The difference in the price of the bikes including the markup and markdown : $138-135=3
