The 8th graders should be encouraged to read more. This is because they have the lowest pages read on average. If you calculate the average # of pages read, the 6th graders have a total of 25 pages, the 7th graders a total of 34, while the 8th graders stand at a total of 23. It is because of their lowest total page read count that the 8th graders should be most encouraged to read more.
