The introduction is the essay's part that catches the attention of the reader and explains the content of the paper. Â If the introduction is unclear or boring, it's less likely people will read a document because they won't be interested. For example, if my introduction goes like "This paper explains changes in the weather because of pollution" it's kinda boring, but if I say "In this paper I show the massive damage caused by bubblegum to our environment" it sounds more interesting and people will like to read it.
