Yes, it is okay to be proud of your skin color. You can't do anything to change your skin color and you should be happy that your skin color represents your heritage too.

Of course it is.  Not in an "in your face" way, but in a self-assured way.
The other choice is to be ashamed of it, and there's no reason for that.
