Try this solution:
S=S1+S2+S3, where S1;S2;S3 - areas of rectangles and the triangle.
S1=18*8=144.
S2=(18-4-4)*7=70.
S3=0.5*(18-4-4)*(22-8-7)=35.
S=144+70+35=249 cm²
