PLEAAAAAAASE HELP MIDTERM!! GOTTA GET RIGHT!

Let f(x)=7x3−2x−12 and g(x)=−3x3−8x2+10x .

What is the function rule for (f+g)(x) ?

(f+g)(x)=4x6−8x2+12x−12 ((my choice))

(f+g)(x)=4x3−12x2+8x−12

(f+g)(x)=4x6−8x2+8x−12

(f+g)(x)=4x3−8x2+8x−12

Respuesta :

just add up the two functions
(f+g)(x)=(7x^3-2x-12)+(-3x^3-8x^2+10x)
(f+g)(x)=4x^3-8x^2+8x-12
unfortunately you choice isn't correct. it's the fourth choice
