The  mass  of  CO2  produced  is  calculated  as follows

write  the  equation  for   decomposition  of  NaHCO3

2NaHCO3 ----->  Na2CO3  +CO2  +  H20 
 find  the  moles  of  NaHCO3  =  mass/molar  mass  =  40g/  84 g/mol= 0.476  mole

by use   of  reacting  ratio  between  NaHCO3  to  CO2  which  is  2:1  the  moles  of  CO2  =  0.476  /2  =  0.238  moles

mass  of CO2  = moles  x  molar  mass

that  is  =  0.238 moles x  44  g/mol=10.472 g
