Serving at a speed of 257 km/h, a tennis player hits the ball at a height of 2.6 m and an angle θ below the horizontal. the service line is 11.9 m from the net, which is 0.91 m high. what is the angle θ such that the ball just crosses the net?

Respuesta :

so the speed of the tennis player is irrelevant. anyway i just constructed a right triangle with a hypotenuse connecting the point where the ball is struck and the top of the net, so technically i guess at -8.08 degrees it should hit, so maybe reduce θ to -8? i cant say exactly since the dimensions of the tennis ball arent listed
